There are a number of ways Bay Area residents can sign up to keep informed about air quality and the Air District's activities.
The Air District has a social media presence on Twitter, Facebook, and YouTube, and also encourages residents to sign up for the EnviroFlash e-mail Air Alert system. Residents, businesses, and local agencies can download Air Quality Widgets for installation on their websites.

The 2009-10 Winter Spare the Air season ended on February 28. There is currently no wood burning ban in place.
The Bay Area burn status will be updated daily during the 2010-11 Winter Spare the Air season beginning November 1.
