Spare the Air Resource Teams
There are seven Spare the Air Resource Teams meeting and working together within the Bay Area's nine counties.
- Resource teams are localized groups of stakeholders such as business, government and community-based organizations that come together to improve air quality.
- Resource teams educate their communities about air pollution and about actions community members can take to reduce air pollution.
- Resource teams create and promote innovative local programs that promote greater use of alternative modes of transportation.
- Team members are responsible for developing and carrying out local projects. Each team gets facilitated support to foster effective communication among team members, to assist with planning projects, to help team members allocate tasks and to assure that the work gets done.
