Community Grant Program

Awards Announcement

The Bay Area Air Quality Management District is pleased to announce the recipients of the 2009 Community Grant Program Awards. The Community Grant Program will expand efforts to reduce air pollution and maximize community participation in the protection our health and the environment.

The Air District received 57 applications for a total requested amount of $2,173,413 for a grant program totaling only $250,000. The applications were highly competitive and the review process was difficult. Great need and merit were obvious to all who participated in the application review process.
