Tri-Valley Resource Team

The Tri-Valley Spare the Air Resource Team is pleased to announce Extreme Makeover: Commute Edition. Employers located in San Ramon, Dublin, Pleasanton and Livermore are invited to apply to receive an employee commute program makeover! An employee commute program that promotes alternatives to solo driving, such as carpooling, transit and bicycling can help attract and retain employees. Help your employees save time and money on their commute while reducing stress and lowering their carbon footprint.

What's included in the makeover?

  • A review of your current employee commute program
  • Development of a program or a plan to increase participation in your existing program
  • Incentives to encourage participation in your program
  • Complete the form and return it by March 31, 2012. Winners will be notified on April 17, 2012

In addition, this team will launch "Idle-Free Tri-Valley" in April. This anti-idling campaign for Tri-Valley schools includes outreach to parents, teachers and students about how to save money and reduce greenhouse gas emissions by simply turning the ignition key.

If you would like more information about the work of the Tri-Valley Spare the Air Resource Team, please contact Stephanie Anderson at 510-763-2500 ext. 1 or sanderson@communityfocus.org.
