Air District Fact

The District also enforces the California Airborne Toxic Control Measure (ATCM) which regulates the Naturally-Occurring Asbestos (NOA) emissions from grading, quarrying, and surface mining operations at sites which contain ultramafic rock. The provisions that cover these operations are found in the California Code of Regulations, Section 93105.

Incident Reports

Information on Incident Reports

Occasionally, a facility will have a significant accidental release of air contaminants, or an air pollution event will occur within the District, in which the District believes there is a general public interest. As soon as sufficient information is available, District staff will prepare a preliminary incident report. These reports are intended to provide an early overview to the incident, and do not substitute for the in-depth investigation which ultimately follows. The following incident reports are listed in chronological order for the last year.
