Air District Fact

The District also enforces the California Airborne Toxic Control Measure (ATCM) which regulates the Naturally-Occurring Asbestos (NOA) emissions from grading, quarrying, and surface mining operations at sites which contain ultramafic rock. The provisions that cover these operations are found in the California Code of Regulations, Section 93105.

The Air District will start accepting project applications for the Carl Moyer Program Year 13 funding cycle on August 8, 2011.

Agricultural Regulatory Information

Stationary Regulatory Information:

The Airborne Toxic Control Measure for Stationary Compression Ignition Engines (ATCM) (effective October 18, 2007) includes requirements for stationary and portable diesel-fueled engines used exclusively in agriculture. Typically, these engines are used to pump water or provide power for growing crops or raising livestock. All applicants interested in applying for stationary/ portable equipment must comply with the ATCM.
