Air District Fact

Complaints are routinely received for many air contaminants which may include odors, smoke, dust, and/or fallout. During regular business hours, complaints are dispatched to an inspector as soon as received, or, with very few exceptions, no later than 30 minutes after receipt. This ensures a prompt, timely investigation while the event is in progress.

Webcast Support

Visitors to BAAQMD.gov have a variety of enhanced media options for accessing Board of Directors Meeting content. Some BAAQMD Board Meetings* are made available to the public via live Webcasts, providing BAAQMD visitors with the ability to view broadcasts of certain meetings as they happen.

BAAQMD Webcasts (both live and archived versions) stream video and include integrated meeting agendas with video jump-points that allow visitors to use the agenda as a table of contents and skip directly to the corresponding segments of video. Webcast meetings are also made available as Podcasts (without the integrated agendas).

*Not all BAAQMD Board of Directors Meetings are available in Webcast / Podcast formats. Please check the schedule of meetings for availability and information.
