Air Quality Complaint Guidelines

Learn about the Air District's Complaint Guidelines and how we investigate air pollution concerns to ensure compliance with air quality rules and regulations.

The Air District is currently updating the Air Quality Complaint Guidelines and recently completed a series of five public workshops in San Francisco, Santa Rosa, Oakland, San Jose, and Martinez to solicit public input on the air quality complaint investigation process. The public comment period closed on February 12, 2020, and a summary of those comments will be posted on this web page soon. All suggestions and comments will be considered and evaluated to help update the Air Quality Complaint Guidelines.
